Crowns Connect Toronto is a local-first directory. There are no accounts and no login. The sections below describe exactly what stays on your device and what — only when you choose to send it — reaches the maintainer.
This tool does not guarantee availability, pricing, service quality, or identity verification. Always confirm directly with the stylist or salon before booking.
What stays on your device
Your favorites, any listings you add, and your hair profile (hair types and styles) are saved in your browser's local storage on this device only. They are never uploaded to a server and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand page views and loading performance. We also record a small set of anonymous, low-cardinality events — when someone sets up or clears a hair profile, taps a contact button (channel and area only), filters by a style, or files a correction (report type only). These events contain no names, no free text, and no listing identifiers, and they are not tied to any individual.
What you choose to send
When you submit a correction (🚩 Report outdated info) or add a listing, that submission is sent privately to the maintainer for review. We store only the fields you provide. Addresses you mark as private (“on booking”) are never shown publicly and are redacted before the report leaves your device. If a submission can't reach the server, it stays on your device so nothing is lost.
Terms of use
- Listings are compiled from public sources and community submissions. Details may be inaccurate or out of date — verify before relying on them.
- We are not affiliated with the businesses listed and do not endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for their services.
- Use the directory for personal, non-commercial discovery. Don't scrape, resell, or misuse the data or submit false information.
